OPEN SCHOOL puts itself forward as a “new school model”, not only as a place of education but also as an “urban focal point”.
The school has ten primary school classrooms and related offices and facilities. Complete with educational laboratories, a school canteen, a gymnasium, an auditorium and toy library, the school is conceived to have integrated functional spaces. The material and technological components are consistent with the main standards of Bio-architecture and Sustainable Architecture.
The school complex is powered by renewable energy with a photovoltaic system which guarantees total energy self-sufficiency and maximum efficiency for a school with ZERO CO2 EMISSIONS.
