The project concerning Piazza della Repubblica is developed starting from a wider feasibility study on the entire urban system. The renewal aims to stimulate the repopulation of public places, highlighting their authentic features and narratives. The intervention focuses on reinforcing the interrelation between road network and green areas, bringing the attention of the architectural debate back on human relationships. In this picture, the idea is to reverse the perspectives, turning a car park into a public square, trying to make it a place for shops and stores, ideal for gathering, encouraging social life during daylight as well as evening hours.
