Renewal of Piazza Lenin – Project and construction management

The project concerning Piazza Lenin comes from a concept of urban renewal which combines the redevelopment of public spaces and residential areas. The public square is the core of the urban settlement, the “hinge” of the urban fabric, the link between the new neighbourhood and the surroundings. An area designed for exhibits and events, instead of a “vacant urban space”. The key words are light and green, perfectly combined, blending in with the urban architecture and design.
The square acts as a focal point of the road network, a space characterised by the different materials and levels composing it, enclosed by a pergola conferring to the space an intimate atmosphere and its own spatial perception drawing the curtains between square and traffic routes.
