Canossa rocky hill strengthening and restoration of the National Museum “Narborre Campanini”

The project involves the strengthening of the Canossa rocky hill and the restoration of the National Museum “Naborre Campanini”, located in the middle of the archeological site of the Castle of Canossa. The museum is partly made of remains of the ancient feudal mansion and exhibits the collection of findings from the archeological site. The restoration project make it possible to resume the simplicity of the architecture, damaged by the changes made in the 20th century, recreating a more organic relation with the surrounding area. The restoration works are completed with the installation of the exhibition space.
