“Casa Pieve” is situated among a small group of buildings near the Romanesque church of Pieve Rossa village.
The countryside is intersected by green horizons with a natural vegetation consisting of meadows, hedges, fruit trees and white poplars typical of the plains landscape.
The design is based on ecologically sustainable technological solutions that pay particular attention to the geo-climatic context. The house, which is Class A certified according to the ECOABITA protocol, looks like a large shell with its south-facing side opening into the sunlight. The large glass doors and windows are shaded by the overhanging shell structure and a sunscreen system designed to convey the heat and light from the sun in a way that does not interfere with home comfort.
